🚀 DORMAN 699-100 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor - Reliable and Stylish in Black Review

I had to return the goods after about a week. It didn't work as well as expected. Cheaply made compared to GM parts. We returned it and decided to spend the extra money on a GM part.

I worry because I have an intrigue if the piece is new because in the settings of the nuts there are indications that they have already been installed. There are crazy signals. I'll try to see if it works well.

Obviously refurbished or just a piece of crap. Installed and got two error codes at once. Checked for voltage and no high or low signal when pedal moves. OEM order and problem fixed immediately (for reference, GM error code 1271 was the original problem, Dorman generated 1220 and 1225 on install, APP #1 and #2 signal anomaly)

I can only repeat the words of other reviewers on this part. It failed within a week and gave me the same "Check Engine Soon" and "Power Down" messages mentioned earlier. When checked at the service center, the same code P1271 immediately got out. I returned this cheap fake and bought a genuine GM part. Consider yourself forewarned!

Bought a few months ago and installed it on my Chevy Trailblazer. Worked fine while the weather was warm, but as soon as it got colder I started getting the low wattage check engine light and code p1217 (accelerator sensor). I've since replaced it with a GM OEM and haven't had any issues since. Of course, Revain's return period has already passed, so I'm stuck. Save time and buy from the dealer.
