Dorman 800 193 Fuel Line Connector Review

Ideal place to use is on a straight fuel line. I wouldn't use them on curved sections, especially if the fuel line is old and hardened.

Worked great. I think the bad reviews are people who didn't lubricate the fuel lines first and sat down all the way. I use similar air line fittings in my work and they work as well.

This integral fuel connector was purchased to replace the fuel line. It's fuel rated and still works great. Installed about a week ago and no problems since. I saved a lot of money by not replacing the entire fuel line.

Should have read the reviews. Drain immediately after pressurization. Cut and erase the lines with the second block. Make sure both ends are fully inserted. Fuel spilled from both ends. I had to use a brass pusher heated with a hair dryer.

I have used these connectors to connect nylon fuel lines. They work exactly as described and are very easy to use. You MUST make sure the line is fully inserted into the fitting or they will leak. I haven't had any leaks. You also need to make sure the end of the line (the part you put into these fittings) is free of burrs. I used a small piece of Emory fabric to ensure a clean fit.
