I managed to do it but had to drill a hole that wasn't big enough for the factory bar in the door. It was worth it in my opinion as I didn't have to pay full price for an OEM part.

It's better than the broken pen you replace, but only because it's not broken yet. I don't really think it will last very long, the working rod link arms are very flimsy, be careful when attaching them. You will also need a short (3/8"?) 1/4" pop rivet to install them. I had a 3/16" on hand, but that wasn't enough.

Direct replacement for Inner Left Door Handle. It fails in the same place as the OEM grip. This is the second I have installed in 5 years and it would be nice to maybe reinforce the point where it connects to the door latch and locking mechanisms. Otherwise it's cheap and does what it's supposed to do.

After installation and reassembly, the latch knob was loose making it appear the entire handle assembly was loose. When I took it all apart again, the handle was securely attached to the door. There is a plastic pin that goes through the handle and the lock button that slipped out of the lock button. About 5 weeks after I installed it the chrome started peeling off. It broke two weeks ago, about 6 months after the date of purchase. I need to buy and install a new part. This is very frustrating because it's not that easy to install. They don't even supply the rivet needed to install the handle. Don't buy it! It should be under warranty but I'm not getting the same product. I can't remove the inner door panel, install the handle and then put the panel back in every 6 months.

Save money! When installing the product, it broke in my hands. After getting everything right, getting that shot the moment I put it on was very frustrating. The only reason I give more than one star is because I was able to return it with no problems and got my money back. If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is! It's cheaply made (just very low quality plastic) and certainly wouldn't last long even if it hadn't broken during installation. I'm better off with my original broken…

Second order of this door handle. My rendezvous is outside and the Phoenix sun shines through the driver's door all day. Since it is the driver's side door, it is the most commonly used. After a few Phoenix years, the inside of the door eventually becomes brittle and breaks. We exchanged it twice. I wish it was metal instead of plastic, but it does the job.
