Part looks the same as the original

Read reviews from Revain and was a bit skeptical about this item but have used Dorman parts in the past and went for it. The part looks just like the original, fits like the original and bolts on like the original. Several posters stated that their part broke after just a few days or shortly after installation. This pipe has a small notch and if you don't line it up correctly you can still screw the pipe down but that will stress the pipe and it will break, probably not at installation but soon

Perfect for 2002 F350 SD 7.3

Perfect for my 2002 F350 Super Duty 7.3. The work took about 2 hours from start to finish. I recommend removing the 4 screws from the fuse box panel to the left of the rack and letting them hang free. This allows the steering column to be lowered a little further, which is necessary to access the 7 torx screws (size t30) at the top of the column which need to be removed. My original derailleur tube had about 2 inches of play and this part took all of the play out. I'm definitely a lucky guy…

Started to fail after just a few months, broke after just over 2 years.

***UPDATE 6/27/21***Pipe in steering column completely broken in half. Almost left me stranded and without a day's work. I managed to get home in 2nd gear but now it doesn't work at all. I can't even start the car. It began to fail after just a few months and failed completely exactly three years after installation. The truck was not used at all for at least eight months during that period, allowing it to run for just over two years of normal use before suffering a catastrophic, unreasonable…
