Works great with replacement parts

Installed on 2010 Chevy HHR. I ordered this part based on a Check Engine DTC. Problem solved. It was also pretty easy to install.

Eliminates traction control problems. Kind of

Because when the Stabilitrak warning and traction control light explodes up the dash, the FIRST thing you think of is the VVT solenoid, right? Yes that is what I thought. However, that VVT solenoid somehow fixed my traction control system. I think they are about the same thing. To be honest I also had engine code P0013 and P0014. Easy installation. My Vue works much better now. I'll change the intake solenoid valve just in case. BUY IT! Do not wait!

Easy Installation: Engines and engine parts

This seems to be a common problem with the Chevy HHR. We have 2 2009 HHRs. It looks like the OEM solenoids die after about 33,000 miles. We made both solenoids in one of them. This is the first Dorman replacement we've bought for our second HHR. The original GM solenoid uses a 10mm bolt. This Dorman replacement uses an 8mm cap screw. Super easy to install. Don't forget to change the oil when installing. Dorman has a little label that says the same thing. Time will tell if this is permanent. Inโ€ฆ

Seems fixed

I needed this for my Saturn Aura 4 cyl. I installed them myself in about an hour. Seems to have solved my engine check problem. I got code P0010 from the guys at Autozone. After checking online, this seems to be the usual problematic part. I only needed 917-215 but since they are side by side and relatively cheap I also replaced 917-216. Today I drove about 80 km without any problems. It looks like it has been fixed. The time will show. Received in two days with delivery "Prime".

There are no more CELs or DTCs on my HHR and I got them faster than I could right now!

I have a Check Engine Light and DTC (P0013) on my scan tool. My car is a Chevy HHR with a 2.4 Ecotech engine. I checked 4 local parts stores online and all 4 said I have to order and wait 5-7 days. I saved $20 and got a new part in 6 days. It's the exhaust camshaft solenoid! The electrical connections are "keyed" to prevent the installation of an incorrect part. This part is easy to replace. You will need an 8mm screwdriver to remove the air filter, a 10mm socket and 6" extension to remove theโ€ฆ
