Not suitable Braking system

Has not worked for a long time. I don't know why, but different hubs use different length gauges. My hub was replaced a while ago, I know it's not OEM, but the sensor was too long. Dorman knows this because they added a spacer to the kit, but it takes them about 5 to get close.

Pros
  • As far as satisfied
Cons
  • Contact seller

Part didn't fit sensors

This part was listed for my '99 Blazer (Dorman 970-010) but the sensor was too long and caught on the ABS ring in the wheel bearing. The wheel didn't turn. I saw someone had a review at one of the major dealerships that had the same problem. Revain quickly provided a return label and refunded my money.

Pros
  • Good fabric
Cons
  • Defective

Works, but not for very long.

My '98 blazer goes through them like a candy. The factory originals have lasted a long time. When my ABS failed at low speeds when braking, I replaced them with these. They work but definitely not for long, I get about 4-6 months of use before replacing them. Usually the cable breaks right where it leaves the sensor.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

The included gasket still doesn't fix the problem

The reviewers who claim the sensor hits a reluctant wheel hub are correct. Dorman supplied a very thin spacer that should solve this problem, but the probe is still too long. I tried using Lowes washers and that helped increase the gap, but the part should fit properly out of the box. I contacted Dorman directly about this and they said they needed to try more pucks or something. Not a good answer. For those who need to replace the ABS sensor, it's best to get the entire hub/sensor assembly…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some bugs

Excellent quality part and easy installation

This bouncer speed sensor is better made than the original part and fits my truck exactly (perfectly). The instructions are simple. Be sure to read them carefully. **A NOTICE. When removing the old sensor, save the metal spacers/wedges as they will be needed when installing the new part. Otherwise your new sensor will be damaged. ** The porter will include a new key/seal just in case, but he will only include one. I had 3 of these, I just removed the old one and put a new one in its place. You…
