Should have listened to other reviews. He is fragile and delicate. Does not hold the lever in the turning position. After installation, the brake lights stopped working. I'll start looking for a replacement. The quality has gone down. Even existing cable connections were removed.

Comes with giant red electrical connectors. When I installed the 1st it broke trying to find a place in the steering column for the connectors. I asked my friend to solder the next one to match. Works perfectly. The wire is like 18 gauge, not 10 gauge.

Purchased for use in a '79 Dodge d150 truck. No cruise control. I've been messing around with this little piece of plastic trash for 2 days. Oh what a beer I drank! In retrospect it's not worth it. I would not return to the center. Bad design. Instead, take the Shi-Mar and replace everything. It's worth it and not too difficult.

The worst quality product I've seen in a long time. The wires and terminals are so thin that a small bend will break them. This is not a "you get what you pay for" example - this product cannot be used for this application and must therefore be placed in a suitable location. Simply unacceptable and a waste of time and money. The camera itself is fine, but useless without proper wiring.

Looks like a fairly exact replica of the part it is intended to replace but is not made well enough to function properly. Contact wires are the wrong length, bent the wrong way, and fastened with the thinnest and weakest rivets. The instructions say to cut and bend the spring wire contacts with pliers. For real? A plastic case that is just a fraction of a millimeter smaller than the original will not snap properly. I contacted Dormans customer service, they said they were dealing with Amazon…
