Great work takes forever.

Excellent, just look at the size of the bolt and the length of the section. Otherwise, you won't make a mistake when replacing a standard part.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • old

But pay this or more. I bought it.

This is a ground strap. It should be so. The only difference is that this price is three times cheaper than in a dealership.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Something else

Grounding Strap for $5.50, get 1 or more

After having grounding problems on my Nissan Frontier, I decided to buy one of these Dorman grounding straps. Nissan engineers thought it would be a good idea to run ground straps from the body to the heat shield on the exhaust manifold. A 20 year old ground strap and 20 years of high temperatures with standard nuts is no good. I will be ordering more of these for an extra piece of mind.

Pros
  • Few Competitors
Cons
  • Some Defects

Don't forget these

I have replaced four or five rotten ground straps on several cars with these universal straps. For no other reason than the old ones broke I don't think they really did much. It wasn't until I replaced the broken belt on my Dakota that was grounding the exhaust to the frame. Suddenly, the interference that had plagued my radio for years stopped. With all the electronics in today's cars, it all pays to kill electric gremlins.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

This was the cheapest (I paid about $5) ground strap I found to fix a broken and worn out ground strap replacing from frame to exhaust pipe on the rear of the 2011 Pathfinder. I can't explain why others have something like this for over $15. This strap worked great, the size was 15" and the ends of the ring lugs matched exactly (1/4" on the pin lug and 5/16" on the plain ring lug). Looks well made and does the job. This is one the weirdest places I've ever found a grounding bracelet.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Got The Job Done, Hold Up

It's been about a year since I installed this harness. One of the ground straps on my original manufacturer's secondary engine corroded and broke. Overall I was impressed with this strap. This is a fairly simple detail, of course, but it easily withstands the heat of the engine and the harsh, salty Wisconsin winters. For the price I paid for it I didn't have high expectations. I didn't need a particularly large strap as like I said it was secondary; For me it had more to do with noise reduction

Pros
  • Great Product
Cons
  • Protection
