I NEVER EVER EVER leave feedback BUT I have been tortured by my area rug which is on my carpet until using this carpet tape. I love my area rug but it would always move no matter what I have tried. I tried one of those sticky pads which kind of worked but still moved after a couple of days and always thought that was my best bet until this carpet tape. Bought this tape to hold down some previously used carpet squares that were still in decent shape. The squares already had some self adhesive left on the backs of them, but the edges were not staying down as well as I wanted. A few of them i put a piece all the way down one side while others just needed a small piece in the corners. I never even knew this stuff existed. I always heard about rug pads and thought "no thanks" but then we moved into a house with a slate floor entryway that needed a rug but the rug kept slipping around. As a concept, I like this tape because it helps with holding down a rug in a difficult spot. However, it's a bit of a lightweight. That said, I have to admit that the spot in which I am using it is a high traffic area, so the rug is not being held down as strongly as I'd like it to be held.
