Powerful, versatile and simple. Worth the effort and expense.

These are by far the best pedals I've bought. They are easy to slip on and off and hold the foot in place for plenty of power. Also, they do an excellent job of self-cleaning dirt from clips. I especially like that I can jump into my normal shoes and go for a walk.

Click on the trash can: Cycling

I have been pedaling for 2 years now. Recently the clamps have become loose and when used the clamp hits the pedals and makes a clicking noise. Very annoying. I sent them back to Crankbrothers and they sent them back in a ziplock bag, no information and no difference. What a mess. The guarantee is useless. I tried to contact them but never received a call or message.

Great value for money - Cycling

I like these pedals because they have a wide platform to distribute stud pressure over a large area. They are easy to put on and take off and can be flipped and used like a regular pedal, eliminating the need for cycling shoes. I bought this second set to ride my Peleton bike so I can use the same cycling shoes and cleats for my outer and inner bike. My wife likes to ride the Peleton without cycling shoes, so great. Since it's an in-house bike, I don't care about the weight, so I went with the…

I found my dream hybrid pedal

I was hesitant to try Crank Brothers since I used Shimano, but I just didn't like the look of Shimano's hybrid version of the pedal and was looking for a smoother pedal. After careful research I decided to try the Double Shot 3 and I have to say I LOVE them and found the perfect pedal for me. It took me a while to get used to the clipping compared to the Shimano m324 I had but I learned very quickly and I love how they feel; my first day like they were made for me and my bike. I tried the flat…

very impressed so far!

Mounted it on my mountain bike today and did a few test rides on my street. I've seen some reviews on here mentioning entry and exit issues, but I haven't had any issues with pedal tension or anything like that. I just had to figure out how to position the foot to snap it in (note: I'm not new to clip-on pedals, but I have the SpeedPlay). Maybe people had problems with the previous model? The pedals come with 2 clamps and 2 sets of mounting screws (one short and one long). The clips have a…

Great alternative to choosing between flat and brushless

Choose these for a new gravel bike after only going flat on my full suspension MTB and fat tire bikes. The last time I strapped on the pedals was in the mid 80's and they were with old straps which are also the type of pedals that came with the bike this time. I like the efficiency of attaching it to the pedal, but I'll be taking the bike to a lot of different places and I'm a little concerned about forgetting my cycling shoes, so I wanted the hybrid offered here. Easy installation, just like…

A near-perfect two-pedal system. But I still love her!

Received DS3 about a month ago. I have ridden them several times with and without boots. I got them because I do combo road and trail rides in the mornings to get some exercise and have more hardcore stuff on the weekends, so I ride my mountain bike almost every day. I just didn't want to mess around with spikes every time I ride, so I looked for a dual system. A lot of the reviews I've read warned of initial difficulty peeling off, but I had no problems to begin with. Literally ZERO…
