Choose these for a new gravel bike after only going flat on my full suspension MTB and fat tire bikes. The last time I strapped on the pedals was in the mid 80's and they were with old straps which are also the type of pedals that came with the bike this time. I like the efficiency of attaching it to the pedal, but I'll be taking the bike to a lot of different places and I'm a little concerned about forgetting my cycling shoes, so I wanted the hybrid offered here. Easy installation, just like any other pedal. Installing the clips in my Specialized shoes required some reading on navigation, but it was easy. I have ridden a flat sided bike and they have worked well. It wasn't easy to get in the first time, but not with the product but with the user (me). Once I figured it out, the pedals just work. Easy to get in and out of, secure fit, great product. I can't say anything about the durability yet, but so far after a few hundred kilometers I'm quite satisfied.
