The o-rings took a little fiddling to stop the leak but all is fine now. I would buy again, but used flat rubber seals instead.

I have had my Big Berkey for many years and am very pleased with the significant improvement in the taste of our Landwasser. Installation is not difficult. Cleaning is also child's play. If a replacement is required, these become available by purchasing a kit. I would never be without my filter. I highly recommend this product.

This addendum does not contain any installation details. It arrived incomplete with no washer/sleeve or any type of nut to hold it in place. There it is useless for me, but it was not free! The exotic size of the M13 fitting is not available from regular American contractors. Don't waste your money and time if you don't have this nut/thread size in stock.

The first one was broken. No problem, they replaced it in time. Second shower without wing nut and seal. I just used the old one I had. The nipple on this one is shorter and doesn't taper like all I've ordered before. I'm not sure if this manufacturing change or the combination of styling and missing parts could indicate a counterfeit product.

Our home renovation included a separate tall faucet in the kitchen and bedroom as we need to drink as much water as possible to keep our bodies clean. I've been using this for over 20 years in a developing country where the water is disgusting. It does an excellent job of filtering any sediment, no matter how fine (even the amount of bacteria) before it passes my UV filter. BENEFITS: Filters fine particles almost like flour. I like my Doulton undercounter filtration system and the water that comes out of it. I'm a bit of a water snob, so I don't say this lightly. The only problem is that Doulton goes out of his way to make things difficult to organize and understand. They are too technical and offer candles with slight differences but very different flavors in the water.
