This new ABS-like resin is worth trying

I'm printing functional parts and need a resin that can be drilled and tapped. I prefer the resinous Weistek ABS resin. Then I decided to try DR.3D resin because it costs less than Weistek. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this printed on my Phrozen Mighty 4k printer. The best results were obtained with an exposure time of 3.5 seconds. This is a true BLACK resin as many "black" resins have a blue tint to them.

Something changed? Good dark black resin, but the last two bottles are more fragile!

I was very happy to find this Dr. Discover 3D ABS in black resin. I've used over a dozen bottles. It would be easy to give 5 stars but something has changed. First, this is the best black resin I've ever used. Solid black with a great sheen. The resin is not the best quality, but it is the darkest. The first few bottles I bought were amazing and true to the description. Not fragile, can be drilled, sanded, etc. Then I realized that they no longer exist. It may have taken a month or more for…

Good photocurable resin; Buy if you want a tougher resin

I bought this resin for a project that will be using gears. My printer is a Phrozen Sonic Mini 4k 6.1". The bottle is really good - as pictured, it's an aluminum bottle with a strong safety cap. It also has an extra cap in the form of a gasket inside to prevent spills when the cap isn't fully secured, which is nice.
