But doesn't work properly?

The bubbles mostly appear on the edge of the ceramic disk. There are instructions for installing the hose but no instructions for operating the diffuser. Do I need to fill water in the hose or not? The main release of the bubbles comes from a tiny spout just below the beginning of the spiral, that's how it should work as they are released straight up instead of going into a spiral.

Pros
  • High carbon dioxide removal efficiency.
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

exactly the same as normal air stone

There was a leak at one point so basically a big bubble came out. I superglued the edges of the stone and that basically fixed it in place. Not sure if my CO2 tank or diffuser is the problem, I have my CO2 tank valve set to the absolute minimum, if I keep increasing it, a huge amount of big bubbles come out of the diffuser; like a normal air stone. I'm not sure if it's a bad diffuser or a bad reading in the CO2 tank.

Pros
  • For 4/6mm CO2 hose (none), only use with CO2 bottle.
Cons
  • not reliable

Weird performance issue - but works well

I am revising my rating to 5 stars based on the response I received from the seller for instructions on how to properly install this diffuser. As you can see from the photos, there is a hole inside at the base of the glass spool to allow the bubbles to come out initially. The correct setting is that the Nit must be completely filled with water before connecting to the CO2. I used a syringe attached to the inlet tube to suck in aquarium water until it was full. In the third image above you can…

Pros
  • Suitable for 40-75 gallon (120-280L) tanks.
Cons
  • Obsolete Model
