When I installed this drum in my Brother printer I was expecting good crisp copies, as always with the start of a new drum, but this drum had vertical streaks like the old one I removed would have . I've tried cleaning the wire several times, but it hasn't helped much (as did my old one). It just makes me think maybe it was a remanufactured drum. My last drum lasted a few years after I installed it. That's very disappointing.

I've been using the LINKYO toner cartridge (TN-450) for about a year now and I've saved a few dollars as a result. I can print as much, if not more, than with a Brother (TN-450) toner cartridge. And the quality is just as good! Ordered this drum twice. It worked the first time 4 months before the printouts became illegible (the problem isn't the toner). The second time around, this drum jammed the paper, made a high-pitched noise, and didn't print at all, even after insulting the printer a couple of times. I had to return my second purchase.
