Description of ๐Ÿ”ง Heavy Duty Faucet and Hex Nut Wrench for Draft Warehouse - Enhanced with Vinyl Coating

Soft vinyl grip. Heavy duty construction. One side is a spanner wrench for hex nuts, other side is to tighten faucets to shanks or towers. Fits any standard shank coupling nuts and beer hex nut. A very handy tool to have.

Flatwater Hook

Very happy to find this. Unfortunately this doesn't work for my commercial microbrewery. The hook is too small to fit the holes on my US beer faucet rings. Expand to be deeper and buy again. This can work for the home brewer. See photo for comparison.

Pros
  • One side is for a hex wrench, the other side is for tightening taps on stock or turrets.
Cons
  • Hard to say

Tool if you don't like screwing up the faucet collar because it won't grip.

DO NOT BUY THIS POS tool unless you want to ruin the tap collar as it won't hold it properly and will tear off fairly quickly. Buy a more expensive one on micromatic. I have been working in the brewing industry for over 11 years. Don't skimp on price cuts.

Pros
  • Very handy tool
Cons
  • Only available in white

Handy but not heavy duty

A good tool at a reasonable price as it is highly specialized and hard to find. Unfortunately my kegerator's collar was not used for about three months and was glued on so the "spring" broke off when I started working with this tool. Excellent rubber grip, not very durable. I would buy it again if I had properly maintained my gear.

Pros
  • Fits all standard shank flare nuts and beer hex nuts.
Cons
  • Some bugs

The tool you never knew you needed

For a long time I couldn't tighten the hammer on my kegerator. Then my friend recommended me this tool and it saved my life. I no longer have to deal with leaking or dripping faucets. The bad guys puffed well and the beer pours well. Now that I have it, I'm very glad I have it. If you have a kegerator, you should definitely get one of these.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

It just doesn't work.: Hand tool

Tail or nipple - call it what you will - just isn't long enough to sit in the collar holes. Doesn't work at all. It's not even a pin like you'd expect from a wrench. The letter "v" is simply stamped. Also, the blue cover expands into a semi-circular area on what I got. Now this can be useful for extra support and even collar edge protection if done right, but designed as it is it only makes the problem worse.

Pros
  • Soft vinyl handle
Cons
  • Available in white only

Not the best choice for power tools and hand tools

Good quality. I bought this one because it seemed "better" than some of the plain ones. But one of the jobs it was designed for is tightening a faucet nut in a faucet in a confined space. What you really need in this situation is one of those wrenches that has a lot of little pointed edges so it bites at different angles so you can tighten it a little at a time. Since this only grips the nut on two parallel sides, not a series of faces, it just doesn't work to tighten the faucet nut in theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One end is a wrench for hex nuts and the other is for tightening taps on shanks or turrets.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
