🚴 DREAM SPORT Bike Computer: Waterproof 16-Function Wired Speedometer and Odometer DCY016 Review

I bought this unit for my husband's exercise bike. I thought I had done my research but turns out the device has to be on the front wheel of the bike and therefore won't work for a modified stationary bike like my husband's. The cable wasn't long enough to run from the rear wheel to where he could see the screen. So it was a waste of money.

The magnet assembly attached to the spoke is made of plastic and does not adhere securely to the spoke. It turns and slides. I am returning this item. I've ridden a bike all my life, now I'm 72 years old. I have rebuilt and repaired bikes many times; I have a professional set of detailing tools. My shop is next to the bike shop. I distinguish good from bad quality. This bike computer is of very poor quality. You can get this thing working for a short time, but it won't last long - it's junk.

This is the second of these devices that I currently own. The first works so well that I bought the same model for my second bike. I like the wired model for its reliability - it seems many wireless models are not that reliable. This device records all the data I need and is easy to calibrate and use. My first device has already done over 3000 miles and 9 months of use and still works great with the original battery. If you are looking for a wired bike computer, I heartily recommend it.

If you don't know what WPOS stands for, just buy it and you will find out. First, the instructions are on a folded small sheet of paper that requires a magnifying glass. I've been trying the wireless odometer for a while but got frustrated with the inconsistent results and bought this one (I actually bought two).
