Not to be used with long sleeve Q'Nique 14+

I bought this product to use with my long sleeve blanket does not work for my car I think with the low shank you can use it with a home machine so maybe I can still use it someday. I can only use this on the long arm on the outside edges and not the inside template.

Pros
  • Curve and S lines are made up of 2 1/4" etched lines. All of these features allow you to create numerous designs beyond your imagination as long as you are inspired
Cons
  • No form required

Great buy for feathers

Easy to use. I use tape markers so the beginning and end are in the same place every time. I made a feather wreath. First I practiced at the junkyard. Any new skill requires practice, so be patient with yourself. I want a more detailed guide; But trial and error in the training part helps me get better results. I am new to working with rulers and have invested in many rulers. This is a great buy for the dollar.

Pros
  • crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Easily wrinkled

No instructions

The ruler itself is perfect. 5mm thick so only a 1/4 ruler but works just as well. The only complaint I have is that there are no instructions, just a freehand drawing of the feathers. I am new to ruler quilting so it will take some time to learn the orientation and markings. I've searched the internet for a video to see how it's used, but haven't found one. I love playing with it!

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • String shorter than others

Watch out for the thickness!

I didn't pay much attention to this when I bought it - it's only 5mm thick so less than 1/4 inch and this ruler can slip under the ruler's leg! I saw the "long arm" and assumed that was the standard thickness without bothering to convert inches to millimeters. When I first used it, it slipped under my ruler leg (Bernina Q20) and made some pretty scary noises. I can attach thick silicone "handles" to lift it, but I still have to be very careful when using this ruler - if the bumper is too far…

Pros
  • Rulers and ruler stand
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
