I often break the EZLock mechanism before the drive dies, but other than that they do the job. For most applications, however, it does not replace a conventional sharpening stone.

. Comes with two hard drives. The tolerance is violated and the metal stamping detaches from the grinding wheel. NO response from seller when I emailed the problem. They work but no customer service.

I like using Dremel quick release cutting wheels and they can last a long time, but I've had ones that if you're cutting something too fast or something that cuts the disc on the retaining ring, which makes everything unusable. I keep using them, but I'm just trying to go slower and avoid the little twists in the middle of the cut.

Works great but knocks out stainless steel fittings very easily. The best way to mount the grinding wheel on a custom mandrel is to check the fit and sand the material with a diamond until it fits easily onto the mandrel without effort. When installed correctly, it works great. It lasts quite a long time when properly installed.

Much more durable (not a disposable wheel) and can withstand significant side forces unlike fiberglass black cut-off wheels. which break very easily if you push them out of plane during use. They are good for intensive polishing or light grinding of surfaces, as well as for sharpening tools.

This is not a product review. Unfortunately, my EZ Lock hole is deformed, and after several tries, the metal disc covering the hole broke. So it's just a random manufacturing error, not something that happened before or after. It cannot be used so I contacted Dremel customer service and they will be happy to send a replacement. I hope to get it done soon. I will update when I can use it but first 5 stars for customer service.
