These things are the BOMB, but they must pay you a fortune for them

I use the Dremel Oscillating Multitool for all kinds of remodeling and repair work. Equipped with one of those carbide blades, it cuts through just about anything. Wood, plastic, steel, drywall, etc. But when you hit masonry, the blades will dull in a matter of seconds. These blades are about $11 a piece, so don't go into the brickwork unless you hate making a profit. You can get non-brand ones for a few bucks less, but they're not as good in my opinion.

Cuts like clockwork

I had to use something that cuts straight down without going past the tile being cut or it would cut into my pavers. I cut the tiles on my grill. I started with a saw to cut through most of the tiles. I've used a diamond blade with no problems, except that it couldn't get to the ground without cutting through the cobblestones the grill was built on. I used this carbide blade and it was fantastic. He did everything I needed and was perfect. The tile was made of sandstone fixed in a thin set on a

Wow! Where have these blades been all my life?

Wow! Where have these blades been all my life! Received three packs and have already cut dozens of nails, screws, ceramic tiles and cement pads. I'm doing a full bathroom demo and restoring it and I'm still on the first blade with no wear or signs of slowing down. These blades and my oscillating tool essentially replaced my grinder, saber saw and bolt cutters. beautiful. I need to fix a sagging floor joist and a rotten sub-floor. This is the only way to cut the nails holding the rotten subfloor

Durable Dremel product

Many thanks to dremel for developing products that can be used in the real world. Good wear resistance. clear description. I had a little DIY project for this blade, I made a square cutout for a door strike plate on a steel door frame secured with cement. The steel frame was about 2mm thick so it was difficult to cut without touching the cement base. This blade made a cut, as soon as I saw the cement dust I stopped diving. See cutaway photos and before/after photos of the blade. Things look…

Really very durable!

No comparison to conventional blades. I'm a handyman and I use my tools every day. I use port blades for about $10 each and have to buy a new one about every two weeks. These are not bad blades, as soon as they touch a screw or nail driven into drywall or wood they degrade almost instantly. Not only are these new carbide blades cheaper per blade, they also last maybe 20 times longer. I could cut wood, finish screws, nails, drywall, plastic, parquet. and I don't even see wear on the teeth of the

These carbide blades work very well on a variety of materials. I am very happy with the life of the blade. I've used 1 to cut many pieces of drywall, drywall, wood paneling and nails and I'm still on the 1st blade. Ideal for cutting holes in drywall for electrical retrofits to get a clean cut without blunting. I won't benefit from 3 blades, I put them in my tool bag and found that one of them broke half the tip of the blade's carbide teeth. I was sad about that as they are not cheap. I threw…

Dremel MM485B Universal Carbide Flush Cutting Blade

I use these blades and my oscillating saw regularly at work and as with all oscillating blades you must work slowly and not press the blade or it will dull overheating very quickly . Also another tip: keep the blade moving and don't let one area of the teeth do the entire cut. Used properly, these blades will cut through most metals, including cast iron, and can last a long time with good care. As previously mentioned, it is important to let the saw do its job and not rush it. Also note that…
