Works as advertised!

No problem cutting holes in old foundation (brick, concrete, stone) for my 96% PVC stove chimney and combustion air tubes. The hole saw still looks like new. Good product!

Pros
  • Drill Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • Available in white only

Tooth chipped but continued to cut

Hole saw made a nice clean hole. Somewhere while cutting a hole in the brick, a tooth broke off. I don't know what happened to the tooth, but the saw kept cutting. Even with the tooth missing, I could use a saw to cut many more holes. I decided to use a 2 1/2" hole saw to run a 2" PVC vent from my new water heater. I am happy with the performance of this diamond saw and will buy again.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • No instructions

I love Drilax saws, but.

I have purchased and used several Drilax hole saws including a 5 inch saw that I have used to cut through stone and mortar. 2 1/2" hole saw, I noticed that Drilax has a more expensive one and given my good experience with their other saws I figured I'd spend the extra money on a better one. DO NOT DO THIS! Since they are stone saws , they don't have a pilot attachment, which makes starting difficult. This problem isn't too difficult to solve with smooth edge saws, but as I've found with this…

Pros
  • Drill bit
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
