They cost about $8 and it was obvious when I used them. The stop color is on the side of the drill. It slides as hard as possible over the grub screw. It must be used with extreme care not to drill too deep. I recommend trying another option.
Pros
Compatible with any wood, metal, concrete or masonry spiral tool with hex set screws. Pros:
This set is junk. Cheap stuff, I bought two items from the same company, I will never make that mistake again. upset. The hex key doesn't fit and when I tightened it with my own set the head of the bolt was damaged with the minimal amount of force I used and still haven't tightened it, the threads also seem to have disappeared like on the other Screw just keeps turning. Can I give -5 stars?
Pros
Drill Stop Rings can be quickly and easily adjusted at any point on the flute/shank of the drill bit, providing accurate drilling results and preventing under and over drilling.
Worth the money. The product is of good quality and unlike many other cases what you see in the original picture you actually get (except for the shiny layer on the product). The locking screw holds the ring perfectly on the bit and allows you to control the depth you want to drill for each project you are working on. I also used them to hold a wooden ball that I attached to a gooseneck drill. I did this when drilling holes between studs in a wall to connect wires to an existing wall. All inβ¦
Pros
For jobs that require precision drilling, it pays for itself by preventing errors and wasted material.
