strong but not heavy

Handy, the nicest caulking gun I've ever seen, let alone owned one. Smooth, accurate trigger pull, strong but not heavy, converts your favorite 1:1 ratio to 2:1 of your favorite 2K slime. I bought this gun to fit urethane structural foam into the cavities of my unibody car. It was less than half the price of other standard industrial devices. Works great with Sulzer Mixpac 600ML cartridges.

Pros
  • Each trigger advances 3.5mm ammo
Cons
  • Long feed

Great tool at a good price

Very reliable tool at several times the price of a Simpson Strong tie. The hose stops dripping when the latch is pulled out - it seems obvious it should be, but not all glue guns I've had work well in this area. I used this with a Tube Simpson Strong-Tie SET by the way. -XP on epoxy in 14 #4 rebars in 5/8" holes, 8" deep. The amount of glue needed was almost perfect, only 1/10 of the tube was left. When using SET-XP hoses, the short spacers must be removed.

Pros
  • 26:1 gear ratio for use with very high viscosity materials
Cons
  • Some errors

Heavy steel for power and hand tools

Applicator appears to be of good quality. I only needed it for a job applying BMW structural foam (epoxy) to my 2003 M3, which had a well-documented E46 subframe installation issue. After receiving the applicator I tried to set the adjustable plunger to the 2:1 position but couldn't get the rod through the hole. I had to use a drill to erase the paint's hole to get the rod through. After setting the 2:1 mode, I tried to insert the cartridge. There were two problems with the seating of my…

Pros
  • 22 oz two part epoxy applicator. 1:1 or 2:1 dual cartridges
Cons
  • Discontinued
