They are far from great. I bought this.

you are too big. I bought this one and also the big one. the large one was hardly usable and the middle one was useless at all because it was too small. I have medium sized hands. They are also made of a very soft material and are contoured to allow the blunt end of the needle to pass through and pierce the finger.

Pros
  • sewing
Cons
  • unreliable

It's still pretty functional except it slips out sometimes

I don't have particularly large fingers, but it was so tight I had to cut open the back. It's still pretty functional, except that it pops up sometimes. But the most amazing thing is that after decades of resisting (refusing) to use the thimble, I am now a convert. (Okay mom, now you can get off the floor.)

Pros
  • Sewing Tools and Supplies
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

I'm glad I got the "Big" because it was uncomfortably tight on my not very large male index finger. However, I found that you can stretch the green rubber with little effort and get a landing without questioning. The thimble itself is a huge improvement over the type my mom and her mom used in the 50's-80's.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
