Drive 15Mm Magnetic Standard Review

I recently picked up a magnetic standard for my diagnostic tool kit, and I'm amazed at how much easier it makes my job. As a result of using this tool, I found that I am able to keep track of small nuts and bolts when working on a vehicle, without losing any important parts. The magnet is strong and reliable, and the tool itself feels sturdy and well-made. The only downside is the price, but in the long run, the convenience and time-saving benefits make it worth the investment.

I use this as a DuraMax diesel mechanic, very useful for keeping a nut or bolt in place during engine repairs. Be aware, however, that the magnet is very strong, and I've pulled the bushing and extension off a bolt or nut several times only to find that the bushing actually sticks under the magnetic force harder than the extension's retaining ball can pull it back. I had to use "Blocking Extensions" with those powerful little sockets BUT. I'm not complaining, I love it!

Anyone who's driven a snap-on truck knows how much specialty heads cost, but luckily magnetic heads come with a lifetime guarantee. I would plug one of these into a snap-on outlet any day. And they are about a third cheaper! Gray Pneumatic is a great product.
