With Pulley Or Not: Yes. This belt assures accurate belt tension, alliance and damping which considerably enhances performance. With the help of vibration damping system, it increases tension and keeps the amount of energy reduced to a natural frequency for lasting use. Torsional round spring design causes consistent tension and helps in preventing the contamination. This ensures high durability. Provides a complete range coverage for domestic applications and those that are imported or heavy-duty.

It's only been a few days

The item is very similar to the one I picked up. So far so good, it's only been a few days. It seems to get rid of the"knock" that came from the belt tensioner.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Tensioner Installation 2005 Toyota Corolla

Installed perfectly on a 2005 Toyota Corolla. Don't forget to remove the motor mount so you can lift the motor and remove the bottom turnbuckle.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

So far, so good. - Belt Tensioner

Works well so far My 2001 Toyota Corolla was making a loud rattling noise coming from the serpentine belt. I thought it was my timing chain, but it turned out to be the serpentine belt tensioner. Installed this and it works fine.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Out of fashion

The description does not match the item

If I could put zero stars I would do it. I ordered this part for my car and received a book instead! A book! I had someone willing to come and fix my car so it was on track for my son's surgery and now I still won't have a car. SERIOUS?! How does this happen?!

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • There are nuances

This item costs $31. That was $150 too much.

The repair manual says to apply force to the 19mm bolt-like tension eyelet. My guess is that aftermarket engineers never read a repair manual. It broke the second time I put it on. Now I will buy genuine Toyota parts to replace it. I need to put the old one on so I can go to the parts store to get a replacement. Thank you driving star. $31 was $150 too expensive. Don't waste your time.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
