I am using this shunt resistor with a multimeter to monitor the current supplied by a 50 amp power supply. It works as advertised at a very reasonable price. I have no complaints.

50A wire (#4) will not connect to terminal blocks. Possibly #12 in the outer ring connector. Avoid if you really need a low-loss connection that won't overheat, change the circuit under test, or prove unreliable.

However, the packaging was intentionally opened by the carrier, although the goods were untouched. Since everything is fine, I assume that the package was accidentally opened. Have bought from this seller before and would definitely recommend buying from them in the future. Thumbs up!

They seem to work very well. I would prefer something easier to calculate than 1.5mV/A. A value of 1 millivolt or 2 millivolts per amp would be much easier to work with. Using a 6.5 digit DMM gives me a wide dynamic range from milliamps to 50 amps.

Good shunt, easy to use and accurate. For what it is, it's great. I only wish the meter I bought (from another manufacturer) had a shunt with their meter which they dishonestly sold as 0-50A when it was only with that shunt (and additional investment). However, unlike them, DROK delivered a wonderful product, well made, accurately described and at a good price. I will easily buy from them again!
