DROK Converter Regulator Adjustable Regulation Review

Provides a good stable voltage to power a 100W/32V LED chip from a 14V lithium battery. I removed the screw terminals to solder the I/O wires directly to the board. There's nothing wrong with having terminals enabled, but it seemed like an easy source of error that I didn't want.

I've been using this to run a 24v dc pump that draws 4amps from a 12v supply - at least 96w. Start up was instantaneous and the boost converter handled both initial and sustained loads with no issues and also got overheated. Adjusting the output signal was easy and remained stable even with changes in the input voltage.

I have been buying DROK products for a long time and ALL they produce is of the highest quality! I can't say anything negative about this company. I've become a huge fan of theirs over the years. From one product to another I have purchased they have never disappointed!

Not much to say, works and works well. The entrance security would be nice, but to complain for the money. As with all boost converters, a minimum load (typically around 5%) is required or the converter will go into intermittent mode, which can be acoustically loud and slightly annoying. I'm using this to start a small PC from a battery source and it seems to work, work well and be cool.
