We have different motors for small boats. This harness has a kill switch for everyone. We needed a spare set in case someone gets lost in the sea. Don't want to get lost in the sea for a little crossover. Thanks for the wide range.

I removed the crimp and removed the keys that I didn't need. Was able to re-crimp the area and then heat shrink it. For $ it's a good idea to keep it as a backup. I had to lend my support to the bosun who threw his in the water. Then I lost mine. I have two of these with me plus the OEM in the engine.

Clip works well but unnecessary to cut other clips that don't match the one you are using. I have two different motors and it would be nice to be able to use the extra clamps for the other motor. You should cut off the ones you don't use to make them useless.

Very nice lanyard and the choice of numerous clips fits almost every switch made. The flaw is that you cannot delete unwanted clips once you have selected the right clip. The loop that holds the clips is permanently closed by a compression clasp. The various clips are molded plastic and cannot be removed from the lanyard. I don't want to carry around 10 extra clips that I don't need.

Worked great. Better than the old elasticated fabric. I removed the extra keys by opening, relocating and recrimping the crimp as someone else mentioned in the "OK" review. All these buttons are too bulky. I also removed the plastic clip on the other end and replaced it with a small carabiner. I have broken these plastic clips in the past. There the carabiner is easier to attach to the D-ring of my life jacket.

I went to my local big boat shop and asked for a replacement clip for my 9hp outboard. The absent look of the employee, then she showed me the electric switch. They had nothing. I walked out of the store muttering to myself about how useless regular retailers are. Twenty minutes later I was home. It took Revain 30 seconds to find the perfect replacement, one click and it was paid for and shipped. Having lots of kill clips is a great idea. I found mine straight away.

I bought this station wagon because reviews of the engine kill straps advertised for my 3.5hp Tohatsu Long Shaft commented that the kill switch plug is too thin to be effective. Combined with positive reviews, I took this as an indication that the thickness was on the verge of tolerance on all motors. This cable definitely has connectors that match the derailleur, there are probably 2 or 3 in the set that will work. I'll probably cut off the ones I don't need (and keep them as spares in case I…
