But actually it's a really good mid-layer garment

Very well made except for a slightly sagging collar and an interesting detail - a thumb hole. I think it's meant to be worn with thumbs through the holes, but I find it limiting. The problem is that the sleeves are longer than usual to make room for the thumb holes, so you'll have to roll up your sleeves if you don't have long arms. I wear a compression t-shirt underneath on cold morning rides and the collar hangs under the bottom layer, but that's not a deal breaker. Sounds negative for a 4…

Great fit and feel!

I love everything about this thermal shirt! I ordered this for my 6'1.210 husband and it fits very well. This large Veritherm cut had nice long sleeves and a thumb loop. I didn't think my husband would like this buttonhole but he really liked that option on this shirt. My husband has several types of duofold thermal underwear in shirts and pants. He loves the food there. The Varitherm-style upper feels smooth and soft. It is considered "warmer" in the Duofold chart. He hasn't had a chance to…

A great mid-weight layer to have in your arsenal

Material: Thin fleece on the inside and a smooth, moisture-wicking material on the outside. All materials are breathable. Great for layering. Quality: Well made. Very durable. Fit: I usually wear L. I took my size based on other reviews. I have a chunky build and wanted to be able to wear this with or without a base layer. Thinner builds may be fine at their true size. Design: This color has a textured asymmetrical screen print that I love. I often look for menswear in interesting colors and…

great price great duofold bottom is quality

great price great duofold bottom is quality my husband is usually a large size larger torso and arms size was discussed but he has took it upon himself to wear the medical as a first layer, knowing he wants it tighter, this fits perfectly, the large may have worked too, but he doesn't mind that it's tighter and likes to wear lots of layers, it is very warm and looking good, you can sit around during breaks and take off the layers and still look ready, he works outside so he has a choice of…

Super soft and keeps you warm!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. My husband is a car mechanic so he spends most of the day outside. He works in a shop, but the compartment door is ALWAYS open, so it gets very cold when working on cars. He says thumb warmers like the ones I bought are better because they keep him warm and also protect his wrists when working on cars. He could stay warm and not wear a heavy coat while he worked. In any case, you can not wear a thick winter coat when boarding an engine…
