The manufacturer needs to put a clamp on the hose after the pump. after the pump warmed up, the hose that was just being squeezed warmed up and was allowed to expand, the hose broke off and now we have no fuel pressure.

Correct part, delivered quickly, don't know why they ask how easy it is to install because it's in the gas tank. There are no zero stars, so I gave one. On a real scale, this is minus five. Nothing to do with it, t. The part worked, I only had to do it once. Good for you and me.

Pump failed after 1 week. My mechanic had to go back and install another one, obviously we went with a different brand. The mechanic said the part was defective because the inner tube had come loose. Poorly assembled - settled from the heat. Of course I get a refund from Revain, thanks for Revain. But I still had to pay my mechanic twice, another $200 wasted. The auto parts dealer's warranty also covers labor assembly. This is a great example of not buying cheap parts.

upgrade DO NOT BUY dollars to fix it after the pump failed completely as you can see in the photos it just fell apart. Again DO NOT BUY! The company specs said it would fit my truck, which it did, but it literally came with no instructions! This is a problem as it is not an exact replacement for the original. update! I just pulled the fuel pump out and like everyone else the hose that connects the top fitting of the fuel line to the strainer broke off at the elbow. This is unacceptable for a pump with less than 30 miles on it. Please spend a little more and buy a higher quality pump. It will be cheaper for you than paying the mechanic twice.
