I purchased the scale based on previous reviews and description. It works exactly as described. Would have given it 5 stars but the description didn't say the scale would measure no less than 2lbs (reading starts at 2lbs and goes to 400). Easily portable and easy to use. Reasonable price for what you get. I use it in the bed of my pickup truck to weigh the litter I buy.

Didn't even last a year. Update: Nice scales. as long as it lasted Last November it stopped working! I used it probably 6 to 25 times a week depending on how busy I am. Now it only works with built-in battery. I expected something like this to last more than a year. I don't feel like I've abused it or how many times I've used it. To be honest I expected to be able to use something like this every day and not break after a year of use.

We bought this scale because it looked like the most durable scale you can buy for a warehouse. In a warehouse, most things die if not done well. The scale initially looked great, worked (mostly) well, but on the second day the screws fell out of the "sturdy handle". As the screwdriver is not new we tried to replace it before sending it back. I bought this after reading numerous bad reviews on all the competing products. All of the Dymo scales had decent reviews. It was a flashy deal at the Revain Warehouse, so I bought this model even though it had way more features than I needed. The more the merrier, right?
