DYMO LabelWriter Wireless Printer 1981698 Review

I had to listen to other bad reviews, Wi-Fi dropped out and I couldn't connect it again, I ended up bringing it back for the USB connected one, I even tried tried to use the USB port on the device, but it still doesn't connect. Not worth the money.

Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, now it doesn't work at all, there won't be food labels. It's still under warranty but you have to call tech support first and they won't answer the phone and the chat just says they don't have people available. So not only did I not pay the price of the printer, I also didn't pay for the labels and postage, which I prepaid.

Purchased on 15th December. It behaves like it's connected to Wi-Fi, but I've never been able to get it to print wirelessly. Not once. I connected it to USB and it prints like this. Now 6 weeks later it doesn't work at all. I've restarted it, cycled it, unplugged it, reinstalled programs - all to no avail. I suddenly can't get it to work anymore. I can't get any help on the Dymo website. Very disappointing.

For the wireless function, WPS must be connected to the router, which is problematic if you don't use WPS, otherwise you have to use a cable. Problematic issue with Dymo label printers and USB 3.0 issue. Dymo printers used to work with Windows 10, but now a USB issue is preventing Dymo printers from printing at all. Dymo needs to fix this problem or nobody will use their product. I had to switch to a Brother label printer.

No mac support to update firmware, mac app not ready for latest macOS, spent at least an hour getting it working but I thought it was just a possible print postage if you buy some pointless subscription service. Can't get it to work properly with macOS for it to be recognized as a printer. Your mileage may vary, but just buying stamps may be easier than trying to get there. Too bad the hardware seems good apart from being plastic.

I bought the Dymo LabelWriter Wireless specifically for use over Wi-Fi. Just like other reviews said they had wifi connection issues, so did I. I bought a used Revain DYMO wireless label printer and it said 'like new'. So I spent about 50% of its regular list price including S.Tax. DYMO did not include Wireless LabelWriter installation details in the Quick Start Guide that came with the package. Whatever information is available, it will not be enough for people unfamiliar with installing a wireless (Bonjour for Mac) printer in a computer.
