work best as expected in Brake Parts

They were a bit tight to fit the BB5 disc brake on my bike but with a bit of fiddling they fit in. I've only done a few trips. with them, but they've worked well so far. (I bought similar pads from another seller on Revain and they didn't fit my brakes at all so I wrote the first suggestion.)

REPLACE BRAKES

I used to buy Avid brake pads for 4 times the price and they are the same quality. They fit well and have a firmer piece of metal to hold the brakes. I spent an hour adjusting my brakes before getting them only to find I just needed new ones. Even if old pads wear out just a millimeter, they need to be replaced! Don't forget the rotors either. This could be your life.

Great fit, performance is in no way inferior to the original.

Fits just as well as original Avid pads. Installed on a BB5 kit. For the BB5, the cable tension must be fully released (loosen the cable tension nut on the caliper itself) and the fixed shoe must be fully retracted in order for the shoes to be installed. to grip properly after a few stops to polish them.

fits well, works well

I couldn't get the second shoe into the holder at first. Some reviews spoke of the need to shorten it. But I did find that both pads popped up slightly after I fully extended both adjusters. I was then able to tighten them to the desired travel and they worked great. They didn't squeak or make any noise. It took them multiple stops to get full stopping power, which is to be expected.

Poor quality brake pads that barely work

"You get what you pay for." These pads were cheap and now I know why. They were made to low standards. The metal body is rough and much of the thickness is paint rather than metal. The edges are uneven and poorly trimmed. The pad material is about twice as thin as the original Avid pads (when new) so I had to tighten the cables and fill in gaps as if making semi-worn pads. And the clips are weak. I ended up using my old clamps because they held the pads tighter. On the other hand, these pads…

Replace your brake pads yourself!

It's actually quite simple. Last time I paid a bike shop for it, I paid $94! As a result, I decided to set up my own business. , short YouTube videos on the topic. First adjust the brake clamping nuts on the brake levers almost to the stop. Turn the bike upside down on the handlebars and saddle. Unscrew and remove the wheel. Unscrew the two hex nuts. while holding the caliper to the frame or fork of the bicycle. Use a small screwdriver to press the silver clip and two used brake pads in the…
