    ORIGINAL AND SO BEST!

    I have used Dynamat to dampen speaker basket "ringing" with my Polk SDA-SRS midrange drivers and subwoofers. I had to work a bit, only 18 drivers. The Dynamat brand is a bit more expensive compared to others like Kilmat, but the Dynamat are hanging on! I didn't want to risk the "things" INSIDE the speaker baskets falling off and landing or I probably would have cut my wrists!     Really helps with noise

    Put this on my RV's 'dog kennel' after removing the sprayed insulation (which WHS!) and now as we walk down the road I can Can't hear dog's engine noise Kennels but now I hear it from the firewall so that will be discussed later. My only complaint is the same as their hood liner. It is too expensive. This product has a competitor called the Killmat which I ordered to finish work as it wasn't enough.     Expensive product but it works!

    Used this product to reduce road noise in my wife's Toyota Rav 4. Installed in all four doors. Each box is enough to cover four doors. It works out? Yes. The Rav 4 is significantly quieter and the bass comes out better from the front speakers! I also installed this product on my VW CC which was already fairly quiet but I really felt it made a noticeable difference in both a smoother ride and improved mids.     Very easy to install and well worth it

    I bought this for my 2015 Mazda 3 (4 Door Touring) because when I got the car the ONLY thing was bothered me to hear street noise and wind through the doors. So I got this along with sealing tape and roll and with the help of a friend we installed it on ALL 4 doors in a few hours. It's incredibly easy to work with and I really enjoyed doing it.     Get the Original. And by the way, it's half the price here compared to Crutchfield. Dynamat is not easy to install. It cuts your fingers, leaving a black, sticky material on them.     Installation: Aside from cutting through the aluminum backing, which is actually easier than it sounds, installation is fairly straightforward. I didn't make any stencils, just simply cut out parts of the shape to cover the entire area I wanted to cover. I was happy with the overall result.     This stuff works as advertised. I installed it after installing 6.5 inch speakers and an amplifier in my truck. Without the Dynamat, the metal in my door audibly echoed with EVERY bass note and kick; very annoying. However, there were literally no vibrations and road noise with him. actually decreased. I installed one layer inside the door panel (against the back of the outer layer of the door) and one layer outside the door panel (the part you can see immediately when you remove the plastic door panel).     Overall I think this is a good product. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because I'm not sure it's worth the slight price premium for the name. I have used another 80 mil butyl product on my tailgates and have had similar if not the same results. If price is not the most important factor then choose this product and you should be satisfied.
