🔊 Dynomax 17747 Super Turbo Performance Exhaust Muffler Review

Nothing fancy but definitely better listening for shifting and overall engine sound which is what I wanted. It's not loud or quiet, it's just right.

Dispatched quickly and arrived in good condition. Jeep Cherokee 1997 It is a few inches longer than the factory one which is rusty. A few cuts with a saw and it fits so we put the original piping on so when I checked it without the clamps there were no leaks. Be sure to wear safety goggles when doing this work. 10/10 would buy again.

Exactly as described. The set was excellent. Installed on Cherokee xj. If you want to be loud, keep looking. It's a nice and smooth sound that makes an I6 engine sound as good as you can make an I6 sound. Before that there was a single-chamber muffler and the noise was unpleasant. This muffler made it smoother and now the jeep can be driven.

The sound is similar to the OEM, only at idle the sound is lower. Installed on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. I bought this model as I didn't want a noisy muffler due to our newborn and wanted to replace the factory filled hole muffler that was on it. Definitely install it yourself and see how everything fits perfectly with a few extras.

Needed a new muffler for Jeep that didn't make too much noise. This muffler fits, no hum when driving on the highway. It only took me 1 1/2 hours to install but I have a good selection of tools and know how to use them. I cut the old pipes off the muffle and cut them as close to the muffler body as possible. I installed this on my Explorer 96 with a 4.0 liter V6 engine and am very happy with it. The 4.SLOW engine is not a high performance engine so I didn't expect a muffler change to add a million horsepower. The muffler uses 2 1/4" inlets and outlets, so my stock 2" muffler was swapped out at the muffler shop for a 2 1/4" muffler to match.
