Doesn't leak well for clamps

Finally a lap joint that doesn't leak!. The description says "stainless steel" but I'm sure the bolts themselves are just zinc plated. Keep this in mind if you plan on taking it off in the future.

Works well for hangers, clamps and flanges

A must have if you roll your own scrap and are a little fussy! I've used them for a complete system; They stay smooth, don't leak and hopefully can be reused if for some reason I need to pull the exhaust pipe out. It was supposed to be SS, but I smeared sealant on the bolts anyway.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Good but bad. for hangers, clamps and flanges

The clamp works well but the supplied bolts don't really fit the clamp body and it took a few spare nuts lying around to get it to clamp. Regardless of whether it's a crappy design or poor manufacture, be sure to find some nuts to match the bolts before attempting to install them.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Fixed pipe too short

One of the exhaust pipes remained loose and rattled after a few thousand kilometers because it was too short. This clamp was a lot easier than changing a pipe or adjusting a U-clamp that didn't really work. Upgrade, works 1.5 years after installation

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Flowmaster Muffler Clamps

These work well for slip fit connections on the Flowmaster Muffler. In addition, there is a well thought-out design of the band around the roller shutter rod. Much better than a clamshell connection where the band is riveted to the stud bolts without wrapping for strength. As mentioned they are for 2.25" pipe but Revain needs to correct this in their item listing.

Pros
  • GOLS Approved
Cons
  • Some Faults

The fit and seal is significantly better than the

. I wasn't sure about trying anything else in the form of exhaust clamps. I used to always use a cheap U-bolt. At first I was skeptical about how the bolts would fit into these clamps. But after installation I was very impressed with this clamp. The fit and seal is noticeably better than the U clamp.

Pros
  • U clamp. That's amazing.
Cons
  • . Slightly crumpled.

Excellent corrosion resistant heavy duty clamp

These are really good exhaust clamps. The wide clamping range has eliminated flex corrosion as well as pitting and rust that cause separation at the joint. Many pipes are actually not round enough to be sealed without some muffler sealant. It's easier to apply a little gray toothpaste when gluing the joint than to disassemble and seal later.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • No instructions

good clamp - spares

This is the first time I have used a muffler clamp and have chosen it over the usual U clamp. My old pipe only went 1/2" into the new muffler, so I don't know how the old U-bolt could have sealed it. The Amazon website describes the size of this clamp very poorly, but I have another website for it Found auto parts that lists the part numbers and dimensions for these Dynomax Band Clamps This clamp is designed for use on a 2 1/4 OD tube on one side that inserts into another 2 1/4 ID tube I didn't

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring package
