Works Great - Glued Nails

Used in Porter FR350 Cable. No traffic jams, dropouts, etc. I will buy more if I need more. They hold pressure treated wood very well.

Cons
  • Reliability

Excellent nails, suitable for framing nails

I have not had a single instance of misfeed using a whole box, the galvanizing is nice and even and certainly does not cover the grip rings. These things hold up like crazy. I tried to pull it out a little, the hammer wouldn't budge. In the end, a 3 foot pry bar had to be used to get one out. Now I use them as a standard nail (and order more).

Great Air Tool Nail for Treated Wood

If you work with treated wood these nails are the best. They worked flawlessly in my Porter Cable Stud Gun when we just replaced the roof trusses and cross braces and are worth the extra money if the wood is or could be exposed to any of the elements. Will definitely be buying more just to have on hand.

Permanent Fasteners: Tape Fasteners

I have found these fasteners to be the most permanent type of assembly without screws. I tried prying a piece of plywood off the frame after putting a few in place and found how fantastically effective they are! I chose a ring bar for this attribute and opted for hot dip galvanizing so they will never corrode. They feed great and work consistently with my Numax nail gun. Excellent quality. I just bought two more boxes of these.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Not hot dip galvanized

I received a box of galvanized ring bolt nails that do not match the advert or pictures. The listing says HDG (Hot Dip Galvanized) which is what you need to work with PT wood. It is a thick matte gray coating. I have shiny silver nails with electroplating. Cheaper and cannot be used in PT wood. The box was labeled HDG so either someone put the wrong parts in the wrong box or it's false advertising. I've attached a picture of some HDG nails I still have. from the depot. You can see a subtle…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
