Impressive instrument. I'm a cynic by nature and this tool impressed me. The LS430 caliper bolt sheared off when the last man managed to cross the thread leaving 3/4" or less open. I scored a size but it lay on the surface and rounded off the bolt (remember (that there is no screw head, just a threaded rod). It was rounded enough to allow for the next size down. Pneumatic impact wrench and some patience slowly turning the head. A GOOD PRODUCT! Very impressive.

My brake caliper bolt is stuck! I tried all ways to get it for free. With this set I shrunk the bolt 2 sizes before it hooked the bolt really well. But when that happened, with a hammer drill and some heat, I was able to loosen the bolt! In a nutshell. There were many attempts, and the socket kept slipping and cutting off the bolt, but the teeth of these sockets did not break or bend, very badly! I'm buying a second set as a gift for a neighbor for the new year!

Received quickly and used a 12mm puller to remove the bolt on the Panhead Hummer H2 exhaust manifold. I tried using a similar more expensive branded air extractor which damaged the inside of the extractor. This set was about half the price of the one I had previously damaged, but this time I used a long handled ratchet instead of an impact wrench. For now, ignore 1 star reviews unless you're like them and mechanically inclined. If it tears off the head of the screw, use a smaller head! GHOST! I got this because I removed the oil pan on my 2011 Murano and a couple of the screws holding the pan were rusty so I couldn't use any of my sockets to loosen them. Space around the oil pan was tight due to the frame and part of the exhaust system, which limited access to the bolt heads. In the past I could put a stuck screw in a vise and pull it out.
