Perfect for adding to the dock to protect my boat

I have added this to 4 vertical pilings in my dock and it provides perfect protection for my new boat rubbing against them. I no longer have to mount 4 fenders that sometimes didn't protect the boat.

Cons
  • Volume

Better than expected

Was skeptical when ordering. But this bumper is very thick and was exactly what I was hoping for. Ordered 16ft, put 3.5ft on 4 dock legs to protect my boat and left some on my pontoon trailer for the bow bumpers. Very easy to install. I used a saw to cut. I may now order some of the P bumpers to put on the edge of my dock.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great price, easy installation

Installed dock fenders vertically on dock pilings. The product is quite soft and should provide adequate protection for incoming boats. Hoping it will last as long as the heavier product being sold by others. Installation was easy as the D-profile is easily cut into pieces and requires no pre-drilling of fasteners (#10 x 1-1/4 in, 316 SS truss head).

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Nothing

Bolts spaced 2 feet apart go well together.

I bought five 16 foot sections to protect my piers. Easy assembly without pre-drilling. This is the work of two people: one stretches the material so it can be installed without sagging, and the other drills. The D profile is fine, but if I didn't have to repeat it I would choose the P profile. I think it would be a no-brainer for one person and given that it's carried by the edge face of the dock it shouldn't be not loose.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Minor issues

This product was very easy to install

This product was very easy to install. I ended up cutting it into 3 foot strips with a hacksaw. Considering it was 90 degrees outside, it warmed up well enough to lay flat for installation. I used this type of washer to protect the rubber from over tightened bolts. https://www.amazon.com/Hillman-Group-2906-Number-8-Stainless/dp/B00HYLZZMQ I mounted them vertically on my dock's racks. It is planned that they will be the 2nd level of protection, and the boat's bumper will be the 1st.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Some little things

good view Ease of installation.

I like these. Recently installed on several PVC stilts on the beach. I couldn't secure the bottom because I need low tide. I used #10 oval head stainless steel machine screws and #10 washers (rounded. I forgot what they're called). They look good and protect both dock and boat from damage. During the holiday weekend, our dock is in a high traffic area, so footprints on the water are a concern on the boat. These strips look good and work well.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Available in white only

Highly recommended. Good quality. Ease of installation.

On my first order I received a "P" profile for bridge binding. I wanted a "D" profile for my 10" round posts. When I got the "D" profile it worked great. Easy to cut (I used a medium blade cordless reciprocating saw). . Attaches to stakes with #10 x 1-1/2" pan head stainless steel screws and washers that are easily driven in with a cordless drill. Should have done this many years ago rather than sticking with old fashioned pieces of flattened fire hose.

Pros
  • Sample for one year
Cons
  • Generally good but...
