Dusty but works fine.

Installed these on my 2015 Honda Fit. Have done about a thousand miles and so far they are EXTREMELY dusty but stopping power is quite adequate and better than the originals.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Absolutely the dirtiest brake pads I have ever seen.

The absolute dirtiest brake pads I've ever seen in 25 years of car ownership and hundreds of thousands of miles. DO NOT buy these if you don't have black wheels or if you don't plan on washing your car weekly. To boot I don't see any noticeable difference in stopping power. I might swap them out sooner just to go back to significantly less dusty OEM pads.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Better than new Brakes

I researched a lot of brakes for my car, a newer Honda Fit, and finally settled on EBC. The products are highly praised by previous buyers for offering smooth and powerful braking. For a car like mine, where stock brakes are considered rather flimsy, this was an excellent selling point. I also like the fact that these products are made in the UK. Unfortunately, almost all brake production seems to have left the US, and even the names we used to associate with "Made in America" are now mostly…

3 Year Update --- Much better than stock pads!

This is amazing (combined with EBC "USR" rotors). I've ridden them about 1000 miles and they're supposed to get better after another thousand miles or so, but they're a lot better than the stock brakes. I only noticed a slight difference in the first 500 miles or so when I "fitted" them (follow EBC's instructions). After those 500 miles or so it got noticeably better. They really "bite". For the first split second they are used as regular brakes; but then they really bite and grab hard (think…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good grip, lots of dust and short lifespan*.

According to Revain I bought these pads in mid March 2016 and it is now early February 2017 and they have been yelling at me for the past two days. That means I got about ten and a half months of it. And since I estimate about 18,000 miles a year with my car. I think I could be classified as an energetic driver. That means I accelerate hard and brake hard. And combined with a slotted EBC rotor (BSD850 "Blade" design) I figured it wouldn't last as long as the original brakes on plain rotors…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Everything is fine
