Less initial bite but great quality

I've had these on my Mazdaspeed 3 for almost 10,000 miles, easy install, good stopping power, slightly less initial bite but overall good braking

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No automatic

Much better than the Hawk HP+ pads I replaced

Very little dust for my Mazdaspeed 3. They are mated to perforated slotted rotors and now my car stops on a dime. Much better than the Hawk HP+ pads I replaced.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great brakes, very little dust

Great brakes! I have them on my Mazdaspeed 3 and love them. I installed the front brake and rotor and can say that the brakes are well received. Bite-resistant and much, much less dust than my previous pads (original).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Appearance

Take your time doing this, just use the weight of your foot on the brake pedal for a while, let the compound do its…

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Lots of things

Not good for a sports car

I have them on my 2nd generation Mazdaspeed3, the car has been modified to around 300hp. I thought these pads would be a decent upgrade for a moderately modified car, but not so much. They don't bite at all and fade quickly. They also seem to leave some heat spots on my new high carbon Centric rotors. The standard pads were much better. These pads don't make a lot of dust because they're ceramic, but they don't hold up very well either. I sell them after only 1000 miles and buy yellow stuff…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Safety
