Amazing Ceramic Brake Pads

These ceramic brake pads are the perfect addition to any automotive enthusiast's car. As my tests showed, they provide outstanding stopping power and reduce brake fade significantly. The noise level is almost non-existent, creating a more enjoyable driving experience. However, they do have a higher price point compared to other brake pads in the market. Overall, the EBC Brakes DP31692C Redstuff Ceramic is worth the investment for anyone looking to upgrade their brake system.

Pros
  • Improved braking performance with reduced brake dust.
Cons
  • Pricier than standard brake pads.

Not worth the money

Installed with new rotors on a 2008 Cadillac SRX V8, first 2500 miles squeaked uncontrollably. Completely worn out after 18,000 km. Replaced by ACDelco for 1/3 the price.

Pros
  • High friction, low heat
Cons
  • Zero

MUCH less dust and feels nicer

This compares AMAZING to the stock covers on my 2005 RWD Cadillac STS. Of course I installed EBC slotted rotors at the same time, but after 400 miles of 65% highway driving I did the break-in procedure. Sure, they gave off a lot of dust, but two sets of five at 60 mph - moderate 10 mph stops are tough on ANY terrain. Since then I've noticed that I think they are a bit more linear and DEFINITELY shed a lot less dust. MUCH LESS. i'm pretty happy If I drive them 50,000 miles, that's enough for me!

Pros
  • Lowest dust cover in the range
Cons
  • Compatibility
