Doesn't hold parts

Bought and installed racks 2.5 months ago. Was working fine until I heard a hiss on my way to work this morning. When I opened the tailgate when I got to work I found that one of the luggage racks was broken and leaking.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not sure

They work. But not for long.

Very very disappointed. This went on for 3 months, I was about to open the sunroof and found that there was absolutely no gas/liquid left in one shock absorber and it was leaking throughout my interior. Get what you pay for. Don't buy if you want longevity

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Clarity

Sunroof could not be held

Product fitted well and initially worked. I've had them installed for 3 weeks now and today I opened my tailgate only to have it fall on my head. You're not holding my tailgate anymore. It's 50*, so it's not because of the cold winter weather.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Fits

Stopped working in less than 2 months.

Purchased 3rd October, delivered/installed 6th October. They have already failed and won't hold my jeep's sunroof at all. I have contacted the seller to see if they will fix this issue. If this is the case I will update/correct my review.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Reliability

Okay, the tailgate that attaches to the tailgate is very loose and has a lot of puddles in it. These are metal ends compared to the plastic ends on older designs, but the plastic ends were much stronger. Luckily, the ends unscrew from the post, and I've replaced the sloppy metal ends with tight plastic ones. Otherwise these fit. Was frustrated that the racks I removed were made in the USA and the replacement was not. I would have preferred to be made in the USA if I had known they were…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Repair

Give your Cherokee the "power " to raise the sunroof with ease!

They were installed in less than 15 minutes out of the box. The struts that were replaced were about 5 years old and becoming very weak. Will hold the hatch once you push it up. These "Made in China" new ones opened the hatch fully and quickly. I had to hold on to the sunroof to keep it from moving too far. More force of habit than necessity, but it has more lifting power and requires a small tug to pass the balance point when closing. Since all poses lose pressure over time, it's best to start

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Quality
