Disappointing Industrial and Scientific Actuator

As a result of my tests, I determined that this linear actuator doesn't have enough power and speed for my application. Despite being advertised as a "multi function" tool, it failed to live up to expectations. The only positive aspect I found was its size, which fit in my workspace without issues. However, the overall performance left a lot to be desired. I'm hesitant to recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable actuator.

Great for shooting a snowman!

, I didn't know it was for moving solar panels. This is a great replacement for our snow plow shooting. However, as others have noted, it's very slow... it's very, very, very powerful, and I can see that if it's not installed properly, it can twist and bend things very quickly, so make sure you Do your homework before you start drilling holes. 4 stars because it hasn't proven itself yet. I will update for a year. I posted the video on YT and will try to post it here as well. If it holds up well

Ended up sending it back due to reverse issues and lack of seller/manufacturer support.

After receiving and installing the drive, I ran the drive and would move backwards with a load of about 200lbs in line with the shaft after turning off the drive (load drops). The installation was forced, which is what the device was advertised to do. As this did not match the product listing I contacted the seller who initially received a prompt response which was much appreciated and awaiting a response from the manufacturer. Well after 11 days of waiting I can't wait to hear an apology for…
