1 year still works. very good economical pump.

high consumption, low power consumption. The pump body got a little warm, so I added a 80mm main fan, now it hardly gets hot. now it's almost silent. No real complaints other than it has to come with an intake silencer and a fan, the only downsides I think it has. Also, do NOT run the pump 100% open, it likes a little back pressure at the outlet. Side . (You'll hear it settle down when you close the valves a little, and howl, vibrate when it's fully open.) This is because the pump's diaphragm…

No more Swamp of Eternal Stench

It's been running outside under a bag in my duck pond for a few months now. I use it to keep the pond aerated to avoid anaerobic bacteria during operation. in a PVC pipe, like in an aquarium filter. I cut a large hole just below where the air hose enters the 1/4" fitting on the side of the 2" PVC pipe and glued it into the cap that bolts to the base. In a pond with dirty ducks, a water pump is out of the question as it will clog regardless of the filter type. It releases air that lifts a lot of

Will vibrate from your counter.

The thing is pretty loud. I'm not sure if this works or not as some people in the reviews say they've used this on a six bucket hydroponic system, but it doesn't seem to provide enough air for my two bucket system. I thought I had a ring-shaped bubble curtain, but the bubbles only seem to come out where the air intake connects to the drip line. As I've seen in youtube videos and several articles and in some molds I used a quarter inch drip tube to make a ring shaped air stone with a couple of…

Works great 3 months

I bought this pump in December, I put a 12 inch piece of hose on the suction to make it quieter, worked fantastic for about a week then has they lost about half or more power. I made a membrane out of the transmission valve sealing material (new of course), it worked like new again. It's June, it's getting warm, but there is NO air! Revain's 30-day return policy has expired. I think if you don't mind spending $40 on an air pump that can last 4 months and then using it on a paperweight, well…

It's not that loud unless you run it wide open.

The pump is a bit weaker than I thought, but still acceptable. I use it indoors and have found it gets a little warm. I decided to attach a wall wart to the CPU fan and place it next to the block. Works great and stays cool. If you plan on using it outdoors and the sun shines on it, I guarantee it will fry eventually. If you don't let the device run too far and shut off the valves a bit and give some counter pressure, so to speak, it calms down a lot. I also used a piece of hose about 8 inches…

I've waited a long time before I could write a review, about a year and a half had already passed. I just bought my 7th block. Everything still works great, like new. I am very happy with this product and have not had any problems. I am very pleased with the performance and ability of a device of this size to effectively manage 6 airlines with seemingly little effort. I use it for sponge filter setups in indoor aquariums with ambient temperatures around 76° plus or minus. As far as people…

Great pump performance for the price when you know what you need

This pump is POWERFUL and while some may find it noisy it all depends on where you put it. It's not quiet, but it's perfectly acceptable. However, there are a few minuses, but they are quite minor.1. The hose supplied to connect to the pump outlet MUST be secured with a tie down or clamp. If you don't, it will pop out when there is back pressure.2. As mentioned in some other reviews, this pump is REALLY HOT and transfers that heat to an aluminum manifold connected to a 1/4 inch pipe. Can be…
