Good features for household sensors and alarms

Easy to connect to station, rename by location and add email notifications in settings. One is in the laundry room and the other is in the kitchen under the sink/dishwasher. I tested them in a shallow bowl with some water and they worked great.

Works well for leak detection and uses AAA batteries

Overall I'm very happy with this sensor as it detects leaks quite well. It has a little siren that makes a noise to get my attention, which is good. It also syncs with my GW1000 so I get a text and email every time the alarm goes off. The best part is that it uses AAA batteries. The old water sensors I have in my water heater and dishwasher use expensive lithium batteries with hard-to-get pills. This sensor only uses AAA batteries, which I have quite a few! We'll see how long the batteries…

Works well: Water detectors and detectors

I have a country house and I have decided to use Ecowitt products to monitor the house. I have an Ecowitt GW1000 to which I have connected a couple of temperature/humidity sensors and now also a water/alarm sensor. With the GW1000 running, installation is very simple. Insert the batteries and the sensor will appear in the app in about a minute. I placed my only sensor in the basement next to the water heater and that's it.
