Premium Performance: Edelbrock 7549 Valve Cover Gasket – Ultimate Leak Protection! Review

I stopped replacing the old cracked leaks. They are thick and I had to use 3/8 longer screws, but I had extra ones in the garage.

Great fit easy to replace. Used them with new Edelbrock lids. Note that they're thicker than standard spacers, so you'll need slightly longer capscrews if you use them (no big deal).

I am always very satisfied with all Edelbrock products. These valve cover gaskets just blew my mind. They seal better than any other gaskets I've used and are very easy to install. I will continue to use these valve covers as long as they last.

I like the gasket, it seems to be a quality product. However, as expected, it is MUCH thicker, about a quarter of an inch. That's good and bad: Be careful when fitting the Triple Check to make sure there aren't any leaks, as it's so thick it's easy to leak if it's not perfectly aligned. Also, it becomes a nightmare when you have extra room above the valve cover, so make sure you have room. I had to install it 3 times due to leaks but now it's perfect and seems like a long lasting product.
