Helps warm up but like most people I had to make a gasket for it because there was a very bad vacuum leak after installation.

My heat/hard start issues have been resolved. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it should already have carbs in it when you buy it, or it should be recommended as a supplement. I don't think it should be sold separately.

The product is just the right thickness to fit under my two ATV setups and still close the hood. They seem to be able to isolate carburetor heat from engine heat. I would recommend them if you have trouble starting when the engine is hot.

This product is not working as expected. I thought this would fix my problem with the Holley Street Avenger carburetors overheating. This had very little effect on the heating problem. Otherwise it was a good product. I've since added a 0.5" phenolic spacer on this insulator and this seems to have solved my heatsink problem.

I have a lot of heat problems in the engine compartment. I don't know how many times I got stuck because my fuel line was clogged or I couldn't start the engine after a long drive. I haven't had any of these problems after installing this gasket. Now the engine always starts. No matter how hot the engine is or how long it has stood still. This thing was a lifesaver for me.
