Description of Edelmann 80261 Power Steering Return

Original equipment equivalent assemblies. Manufactured using nitrile tube and oil-resistant synthetic rubber cover. Manufactured with a special chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) tube with a temperature capacity of up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Mounting Brackets, heat shields and convoluted sheathing to protect the hose are included where applicable. 16mm long swivel O-ring x 3/8 inch i.d. hose.

The Edelmann 80261 Power Steering Return is a disappointment for any automotive enthusiast. Based on our own experience, we found that it failed to provide the expected performance in our high-performance sports car.Although the product appears to be designed with quality materials it simply does not deliver the expected results. Precision fit and quality detail for rusty return line on 1998 Ranger 3.0L V-6

I've started to hear the power steering hum and the low fluid level and after checking my ranger, find the return line badly corroded and leaking at the line. A tip to make removing the old rusty cord easier is to cut the wire cutters next to the fitting and then use a socket wrench, extension and ratchet to loosen the fitting from the post, easy!
